The Regional Peri-operative Medical Director for SSM Health Wisconsin region is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the peri-operative medical operations and strategic initiatives of the WI ministry hospitals in collaboration with the Peri-operative leadership team. This position works closely with the Peri-op leadership team to ensure efficient and high-quality perioperative services across multiple sites. Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Medical Executive Committee (MEC) Leadership and collaboration: Supports the Associate Peri-op Medical Director in conducting four quarterly meetings and addressing ongoing issues related to policies, bylaws, and Joint Commission standards. Provide oversight for the ASC Quality Improvement and Peer Review Committee, stepping in as needed. Credentialing and Privileges Management: Assists the Associate Peri-op medical director with credentialing for the ASC, handling monthly new provider appointments, reappointments, and temporary privileges.
