Summary/Objective The Lead Fleet Technician is a highly skilled, working technician responsible for performing advanced diagnosis, repair, and preventative maintenance (PM) on the company's fleet of commercial delivery vehicles. Work closely with the Foreman and Quality Control Technician to ensure rolling patterns and density specifications are met. Conduct rolling operations in accordance with project specifications to achieve required compaction and avoid issues such as over-compaction or under-compaction. Pinch joints, corners, and edges to ensure smooth transitions and no visible seams in the finished product. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to the Foreman or Supervisor. Maintain cleanliness of the equipment, including wiping down rollers, checking for damage, and ensuring all safety features (such as back-up alarms, lights, etc.) are functioning. Attend regular team meetings, including safety briefings, to stay updated on project progress and new procedures. Perform other duties as required to support the project and team. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED certificate. 1-3 years of experience operating asphalt roller equipment. Valid Driver’s License. Position Description: The Loader Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a front-end loader to support asphalt plant production. This role plays a key part in maintaining continuous plant operations by managing raw material stockpiles, loading bins and hoppers, and keeping the plant yard organized and safe.
