Job Description Job Description Electrical Foreman Location: McAllen, Texas (Projects throughout South Texas including McAllen, Corpus Christi, and San Antonio) Base Location: Corpus Christi, Texas Pay: $45.00 per hour Per Diem: $60/day Additional Benefits: Company-paid hotel accommodations, paid travel to and from the job site, and a company vehicle provided. Project Types Industrial Commercial Federal VA Facilities Federal Prisons State-Funded Projects Position Summary The Electrical Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical field operations on construction projects throughout South Texas. While projects are located in McAllen, Corpus Christi, and San Antonio, this immediate opening is supporting a project in McAllen, TX. This position provides leadership to electricians and apprentices, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, and company standards. The ideal candidate has strong experience managing crews on industrial, commercial, and government construction projects and can effectively coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Lead and supervise electrical crews on assigned projects. Plan, organize, and direct daily field activities to meet project schedules and productivity goals. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and project documents. Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, project specifications, and quality standards. Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce company safety policies. Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues. Maintain accurate daily reports, timekeeping records, and material tracking. Coordinate inspections with local authorities and project stakeholders. Train, mentor, and develop electricians and apprentices. Communicate effectively with project management and clients regarding project status and field conditions. Qualifications Current Texas Journeyman Electrician License required. Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Foreman or Lead Electrician. Strong background in industrial and commercial electrical construction. Experience on Federal, VA, Prison, or State-funded projects preferred. Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Proven leadership and crew management skills. Strong commitment to workplace safety. Valid driver's license required. Ability to pass background checks and security clearances required for federal or state projects. Physical Requirements Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work at heights for extended periods. Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
