Experienced Low Voltage Installer / Crew Leader

We specialize in surveillance systems , access control , structured cabling , networking , intercoms, VOIP phone, and audio/video installations . Position Summary We are hiring a Low Voltage Installer with the drive and potential to grow into a Crew Leader role or, depending on expertise and experience, possibly start as a Crew Leader . This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated technician who enjoys working with technology, solving problems, and delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coax, fiber, etc.) Install and configure security cameras (CCTV) , access control systems , and networking equipment Program and troubleshoot IP-based systems Read blueprints and follow structured cabling plans Maintain clean and organized job sites and work vehicles Communicate effectively with clients and team members Mentor junior technicians as you grow into a leadership role Qualifications 2 years of experience in low voltage installation Strong knowledge of surveillance systems , access control , and network infrastructure are a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Preferred Skills (Not Required) Experience leading or training small teams Certifications in low voltage, networking, or security systems (e.g., CompTIA, IPVM, BICSI) Familiarity with tools like cable testers, multimeters, and network analyzers Be comfortable performing basic tasks such as minor repairs, assembling equipment, mounting items, troubleshooting common issues, and general upkeep. Be comfortable working on a ladder and/or lift, as needed.
