Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials within our facility. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth operations by receiving incoming shipments, organizing inventory, and preparing materials for production or shipping. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage. Load and unload trucks using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks. Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, or loading docks. RAF Manufacturing Orders. Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them. Pull orders and stage them in assigned locations. Conduct inventory checks, cycle counts, and update records to ensure accuracy. Maintain accurate documentation of materials handled, including packing lists and receipts. Operate warehouse equipment safely and perform basic maintenance checks. Keep work areas clean and organized to promote a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production and shipping goals. Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). 1-5 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling role. Experience operating forklifts or other equipment is a must Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs regularly). Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one) is required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping. Excellent physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Commitment to workplace safety and ability to follow instructions. Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including overtime as needed.

PH - Switcher PT-1

Responsible for the movement of trailers to and from the unload / load doors and throughout the yard. May also be responsible for the physical loading, unloading and/or sorting of packages by hand, including lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying and placing, in a safe and efficient manner. Essential Function • Performs trailer switches defined as hooking and moving a parked trailer from the yard to a load/unload door or hooking and moving a trailer from a door to the yard. • Communicates with management and/or central control to coordinate trailer movements in the yard. • Documents trailer moves using the Yard Management System (where available) or switcher cards. • Performs pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment. • Understands and demonstrates effective yard switching safety processes and procedures. In addition to the above essential functions, Switchers may also be required to perform Package Handler essential functions as follows: • Utilizes “hand-to-surface” methods for all package handling. • Loads and unloads packages onto or from delivery vehicles, trailers, conveyor system carts and load gratings. • Lifts, carries, pushes and pulls packages on a continuous and repetitive basis for approximate shifts of two to four hours. • Determines the appropriate conveyor system by scanning packages, reading labels and charts, verifying numbers and memorizing information and sorts packages accordingly. • Peforms other duties as assigned Minimum Education •None required Minimum Experience •No experience required; six (6) months of experience as a package handler or switching/CDL operator experience preferred.
