Quick Facts Location: 888 Pine Street, Macon, GA 31201 Start Date: 05/15/2026 End Date/Duration: Permanent Shift: Typically regular hours; shared call schedule Hours/Week: Full-time, based on department needs Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Licenses/Certifications: Valid Georgia medical license; Board Certified/Eligible in Neonatology Experience: Prior experience in neonatal intensive care required Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour Pay package discussed upon application Benefits include: Competitive salary based on experience Substantial sign-on bonus Relocation assistance available Medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care FSA, HSA options 401(k) retirement plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program Optional voluntary benefit plans Academic appointment opportunity with Mercer University School of Medicine What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a 70-bed Level III NICU Manage critically ill and premature newborns needing advanced neonatal therapies Utilize advanced NICU technologies such as high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, and total body cooling Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, NNPs, pediatric specialists, and surgeons Participate in an attractive rounding and shared call schedule Educate and mentor pediatric residents and medical students Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based neonatal practices Deliver family-centered care focused on infant and family well-being What You Need Required: Valid Georgia medical license or eligibility Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology Minimum X years of NICU experience (specify as appropriate) Preferred: Experience with advanced neonatal therapies and technologies Prior experience in a Level III NICU environment Strong teamwork and communication skills About the Assignment Join a highly respected team at a leading facility in Macon, Georgia, offering exceptional neonatal care within a modern, 50,000 sq. ft.
