About the Position The company is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent to lead the field operations for multiple projects. As a Superintendent, you will oversee the day-to-day activities on construction sites, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and on time. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, a strong work ethic, and a can-do attitude, ready to lead by example and do whatever it takes to get the job done. Primary Responsibilities: Ensure the safety of team members and project sites at all times. Maintain a complete understanding of blueprints, schedules, project plans, subcontractor responsibilities, and scope of work. Plan, schedule, and assign daily tasks for site and crew. Ensure daily production goals are met by performing walkthroughs to verify activities. Manage and order materials, equipment, and subcontractors. Proficient in calculating volume/cubic yards of material and tonnage for stone. Familiarity with reading survey and layout stakes. Strong blueprint and plan reading skills.
