Opportunity Details: Provide clinical care for patients in the outpatient addiction clinic and opioid treatment program. Diagnose substance use disorders and non-substance related addiction disorders and recommend treatment that considers levels of care criteria. Order and manage medications for addiction treatment, including for opioid use disorder and alcohol use disorder. Monitor the progress of individuals in treatment and review the appropriateness of continued treatment and level of care. Contribute to the completion of Treatment Plans and Utilization Reviews. Teach and train fellows, residents, and medical students rotating on addiction services as well as preparing didactic presentations as needed. Assist with orientation of new physicians and staff in addiction services. Assist medical leadership with Quality Assurance and Process Improvement projects as needed. Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Addiction Psychiatry. Active New York State Medical License. Wages and Benefits include: Annual Base Salary: $278,200 (board eligible); $288,500 (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $450,020 (board eligible) and $461,350 (board certified) , which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below: Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000 . Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets. 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings.
