Bohemian Foundation is seeking an experienced full-time Human Resources (HR) Director to join our organization and leadership team. About Bohemian Foundation: Bohemian Foundation, 501(c)(3), is a private family foundation based in Fort Collins, Colorado that is committed to working with our fellow community members on the care and improvement of our local, national, and global communities. About the Role In partnership with the President and CEO and Executive Leadership, this role will develop and recommend the human resource strategy, policies, and programs. Examples include employee engagement strategies that foster a high-performing, entrepreneurial workforce in support of the Foundation's objectives, as well as talent recruitment, retention, total rewards, and other efforts that seek to mitigate organizational risk. The HR Director will operate primarily as a strategic partner to management – equipping managers to effectively support and engage their teams. This includes coaching, advising, and developing leaders and supervisors on employee relations, performance, and day-to-day human resource matters. In doing so, the HR Director builds managers’ capacity to exercise sound judgment about when to resolve routine issues directly and when to escalate sensitive, complex, or legally significant matters to the HR Director. The HR Director will function as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the President and CEO regarding operational and workplace issues and concerns. With a commitment to learning and continuous improvement, the HR Director will lead the HR staff and work collaboratively with the CFO and the accounting team related to employment, payroll, and compliance priorities. This role reports to the President and CEO. Experience and Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, psychology or related field · PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP · 10 years of previous Human Resources and management experience required with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Human Resources leadership role, preferably managing a team · Background using compensation and benefit systems to support total rewards planning, job evaluations, and organizational benefit renewal and compensation processes · Demonstrated experience managing and onboarding part-time teams with varied backgrounds and skill levels · A strong track record of operating within multi-department organizations and effectively navigating dynamic structures, workflows and cross-functional relationships. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills including interpersonal and conflict resolution skills · Excellent organization skills and attention to detail · Strong analytical, entrepreneurial, and problem-solving skills · Thorough and demonstrated knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations · Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) such as ADP, Workday, or similar people and payroll management platforms The anticipated starting annual salary for this position is $130,000 - $140,000. All regular, full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, wellness benefits, retirement savings, and company match. Additional benefits include sixteen paid holidays, flexible time off (vacation, sick and personal time), paid new parent leave, staff education, and education reimbursement.
