Position Summary We are seeking a MIG Welder for our client in Cullman, AL. In this role, you will set up, operate, and perform basic programming on machines used in the production of hollow metal doors. Welders to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. This role requires advanced welding and fitting experience, including the ability to read blueprints, fit components, and complete high-quality welds to specification. Responsibilities Perform Structural MIG welding on structural steel and metal components Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings Fit, align, and assemble metal parts prior to welding Ensure welds meet quality standards and required specifications Use measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and levels for accurate fitting Perform grinding, cutting, and finishing as needed Inspect completed welds for defects and ensure proper penetration and strength Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Qualifications 1 years of MIG welding and fitting experience Strong blueprint reading and weld symbol knowledge Ability to fit and fabricate without supervision Experience working with structural steel or heavy fabrication Ability to pass a weld test (if required) Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to perform consistent, quality welds in a production environment Basic blueprint reading preferred Willingness to learn fitting and fabrication skills Must Pass a measurement test. Ability to pass a weld test Schedule & Pay Shift: MONDAY – THURSDAY 6:30 AM TO 4:30 PM FRIDAYS 6:30 AM TO 3:00 PM SATURDAY 6:30 AM TO 3:00 (IF SCHEDULED TO WORK) Overtime: Friday & Saturday.
