Job Duties The Small Engine Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing various outdoor small engine products such as: chainsaws, snowblowers, lawnmowers, UTVs & ATVs. They are responsible for providing excellent customer service to our customers. Diagnose and repair small engine outdoor power equipment, recreational equipment/vehicles, and other mechanical equipment. Provide excellent service and an exceptional shopping experience. Assist customers by loading and unloading products, locating parts, and answering questions concerning repairs to their units. Diagnosing, assembling, and repairing all small engine and outdoor power equipment sold at Blain's Farm and Fleet stores. Document repairs on work orders, track units in the shop, complete and file/close out work orders. Assist with warranty claims and file them in a timely manner. Contact customer regarding work completion date. Attend training classes/seminars for repair technicians. Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and safety policies and/or procedures.
