The on-call Otolaryngologist is responsible for providing immediate medical evaluation and treatment for urgent/emergent patient conditions while providing on-call coverage, including ED/Inpatient consultations, surgical intervention, response to urgent patient and/or provider phone calls, and communication with established physicians regarding interventions and follow-up care.
