Job Details Job Details: As anEstimator in the Construction industry, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of various construction projects. You will be responsible for evaluating the cost of labor, materials, and time to assist in making strategic decisions that will determine the success of our projects. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will be expected to work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities: 1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and other related costs. 2. Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. 3. Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues. 4. Conduct site visits and gather all necessary data (like number of workers, equipment, and hours needed) to compile an accurate estimate. 5. Prepare and submit cost estimates to clients or management, including detailed reports or bids for business contracts. 6. Conduct risk analysis to identify potential issues or obstacles and provide solutions. 7. Maintain existing contractor relationships and build new ones to ensure the best pricing and quality. 8. Track and record all costs and information for future reference and analysis. 9. Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on estimates. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field. 3. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations. 4. Proficiency in relevant software, such as estimating, project management, or CAD software. 5. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a strong attention to detail. 6. Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities. 7. Ability to read and understand technical documents and blueprints. 8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. 9. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. 10. Knowledge in Pricing, Hard Bidding, Project Estimation, Construction Estimating, Cost Management, Budgeting, Project Bidding, and Cost Analysis. Interested in hearing more?
