Senior Complaint Analyst

Serve as a key contributor to UNFCU’s complaint management program by ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. Monitor, analyze, and provide guidance on complaint-related matters, conduct complaint assessments, prepare reports, and follow up to ensure findings are addressed and validated. This position is hybrid. NYC Salary range: $90,390 - $113,040 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location. Receive, review, and evaluate complaints from various sources (phone, email, online, etc.) to determine their validity and risk. Conduct thorough investigations, which may involve interviewing business lines, reviewing documentation (e.g., interaction records), and collaborating with subject matter experts. Maintain detailed records of all communications, investigations, and resolutions. This also involves preparing reports and metrics for management reviews and internal/external audits. Ensure timely closure and resolution of complaints. Analyze complaint data to identify trends, potential product or service issues, and recommend improvements to products, services, or internal processes to prevent recurrence. Perform risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks across different departments, products, services and functions within the credit union. Stay informed of regulatory changes, new regulations and internal policy changes in order to further identify new key risk areas. Serve as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and support on compliance issues to staff across the organization. Act as a liaison during regulatory examinations, preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and coordinating with examiners. Follow up on findings or recommendations from regulatory exams, implementing necessary changes to ensure ongoing compliance. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including legal, audit, and business units, to ensure compliance. Develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships, coordinating with teams to accomplish shared objectives. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations of the ASC, including two cardiac cath labs and eight recovery bays Ensure ongoing compliance with AAAASF accreditation requirements and CMS regulatory standards Lead quality assurance (QA), quality improvement (QI), and infection control programs Supervise, mentor, and support clinical and administrative staff to ensure safe and efficient workflows Collaborate closely with physicians and the Medical Director to optimize patient outcomes Provide strategic oversight of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis Develop, implement, and manage the annual operating budget while identifying cost-saving opportunities Manage vendor contracts, supply chain operations, and inventory controls Analyze financial metrics and operational performance indicators and prepare reports for leadership Oversee billing, coding, and revenue cycle management in collaboration with the business office Monitor staffing, resource utilization, and operational efficiency Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports Serve as the primary liaison with governing bodies, vendors, and community partners Qualifications Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred Licensure & Certifications: Active RN license in the state of California BLS and ACLS certifications required Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of leadership experience in an ASC setting Cardiac or cath lab experience strongly preferred Proven experience with business office and operational management in an ASC Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, financial operations, and cost containment Experience maintaining AAAASF accreditation and CMS compliance Strong knowledge of QA/QI processes and infection control Additional Requirements: Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment Working knowledge of healthcare billing, reimbursement models, and ASC revenue cycle management Compensation & Benefits Salary: $140,000 – $160,000 annually, commensurate with experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and paid holidays Retirement plan options (401(k)) Continuing education and professional development support Work Location: In-person Schedule: Full-time
