Private Duty Nurse (LPN/RN): 7:00am-7:00pm Job Title: Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN) Location: Keokuk, Iowa Patient Specifics: 20 Years Old Continuous Medical Monitoring Tube Feedings/Cares ADL's/IADL's Medication Administration Schedule: Monday: 7:00am-7:00pm Tuesday: 7:00am-7:00pm Wednesday: 7:00am-7:00pm Thursday: 7:00am-7:00pm Friday: 7:00am-7:00pm Saturday: 7:00am-7:00pm Sunday: 7:00am-7:00pm Full Time: This schedule would be 3-4 days weekly, with rotating weekends. Part Time: 1-2 days/week, fill in as needed for full time staff About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Private Duty Nurse to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a child in the comfort of their home. As part of our team, you'll play a vital role in improving the quality of life for pediatric patients and their families through attentive, individualized care. Responsibilities Understand and participate in case management of the home care client. Implement nursing-care services under the direction and supervision of the RN Case Manager. Provide care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act and the policies, rules, and guidelines that govern home health care. Maintain an adequate liaison with families and clients. Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and a positive attitude. Comply with safety precautions and infection control procedures at all times. Protect and promote the exercise of the client's rights. Maintain the confidentiality of all client care information 100% of the time. Immediately notify the RN Case Manager when change in the client's condition suggests the need to alter the plan of care. Utilize the plan of care as a tool to routinely provide client care. Administer medications and treatments only as ordered by the client's attending physician and as written in the plan of care. Qualifications Must possess a current Iowa license to practice nursing, LPN/LVN or RN. A minimum of one-year experience in nursing is preferred, but not required. A current CPR Certification is required. Valid driver's license. Proof of auto insurance. Must complete an Employee Health Questionnaire/Physical within 30 days of employment.
