About the Position The company is seeking a Director of Operations to lead operations in Charlotte. This is not a traditional operations manager role—it’s a head coach position for someone who has lived in the details of complex concrete projects and now knows how to lead multiple teams to success. This is an opportunity to own both the strategic and tactical performance of 4 major projects at once—ranging from $8M and 4 stories up to 30 story towers. You’ll manage project teams, shape preconstruction and business development targeting, ensure high standards in execution, and drive accountability through data and process. You’ll need to pivot when required, support your team through challenges, and communicate with clarity and urgency. If you have a track record of leading large commercial concrete projects and are known for having "command presence" in high-stakes environments—this is your stage. Key Responsibilities Lead operational oversight of 3–6 large-scale concrete projects simultaneously. Provide coaching and structure to PMs and Superintendents—ensure they know what they’re focused on and how to execute. Guide preconstruction and BD teams to chase and win the right work.
