Qualifications\n \n Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California in good standing. \n Registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and eligibility for independent practice. \n Completion of a minimum of 6 semester units of supervised experience in couples and family therapy, if providing those services. \n Proven experience working with diverse populations and a strong commitment to social justice in mental health. \n Expertise in at least one evidence-based practice such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), or trauma-informed care. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience in a community health setting or outpatient mental health clinic. \n Familiarity with EMR and telehealth systems to streamline client interactions and documentation. \n Participation in continuing education opportunities or training workshops relevant to emerging therapy trends. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, inclusive of benefits such as health, dental, and vision coverage, along with retirement plan access. Counselors have the flexibility to establish their own caseload, ranging from 10 to 30 therapy sessions per week, and enjoy a fee-for-service pay structure with protective measures in place for no-show appointments.
