We offer a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs, enabling you to manage your time effectively. Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ needs and tailor individualized treatment plans. \n Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to address diverse mental health issues. \n Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, fostering a sense of community and offering strategies for coping with mental health challenges. \n Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive and holistic patient care. \n Deliver crisis intervention services and immediate support during mental health emergencies. \n Educate clients on mental health conditions, their treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey. \n Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate record keeping. \n Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and pursue ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n In this role, you will engage with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including children, adolescents, and adults from different socioeconomic backgrounds. Your work will directly contribute to improving their well-being and enhancing their quality of life by providing tailored therapeutic services in a compassionate, nonjudgmental setting. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n A current and valid license as an LMHC in the state of New York. \n Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and effective therapeutic approaches. \n Demonstrated experience in conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective, individualized treatment plans. \n Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills essential for building rapport with clients. \n Proficiency in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications. \n The ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines at all times. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience delivering individual and group therapy with diverse populations. \n Background in crisis intervention services or managing mental health emergencies. \n Previous involvement in collaborative treatment planning within a multidisciplinary team. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 52,000 to USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
