PRODUCTION RESPONSIBILITIES • Assists in set-up or approving production gages per Quality Standards. • Assists in auditing packaged material prior to shipment to ensure label is correct and packaging meets specs. Approves acceptable cartons. • Mindful of cost reduction needs and contributes where possible without sacrificing quality. • Assists in collecting, measuring and recording data for Certificates of Conformance. Issues period rework report. (Scrap, Rework) • Assists with final audit acceptance sampling per control plans on LI Separator material as it is produced. Assists with final audit acceptance sampling per control plans • Performs routine process Quality audits as assigned by QC Manager. Safety ES&H • Understand the importance of conformance to the environmental policy procedures and the requirements of the EMS. • Understand the environmental impacts associated with their work activities and the environmental benefits of improved personal performance. • Understand their role in achieving conformance with the environmental policy, relevant procedures, and the requirements of the EMS, including emergency preparedness and response • Understand the potential consequences of deviation from specified operating procedures. • Comply with all environmental, safety, and health rules, policies, and programs established by the company to the extent of training received. • Immediately, report any accidents and releases to the Supervisor • Recognize that adhering to job responsibilities and procedures regarding environmental, health, and safety is a condition of employment. Conducting trial runs before soldering and make necessary adjustments. Correcting problems by adjusting controls or stopping machines. Monitoring all aspects of machine and machine processes during the assembly process. Observing and listening to operating machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and to determine the need for adjustments or repairs. Examining products or work to verify conformance to specifications including set-up, first articles and during the production process. Marking and tagging components so that stock inventory can be tracked and identified. Maintaining production or work records. Attaching or marking identification onto products and/or containers. SMT Operator Qualifications Profile: Professional demeanor and appearance while working within an ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 environment. Shift of the Finishing Operator: 1st Shift - 6:30AM-3:00PM Pay Rate/Salary of the Finishing Operator: $22/hr Responsibilities of the Finishing Operator: Complete final processes of parts/subcomponents in accordance with MAPS, SPECS, and other engineering and customer specifications. Wash and dry parts according to the production schedule. Perform inspection procedures to ensure appropriate quality of product and process. Record basic production information such as part numbers, quantities, routing codes, and labeling. Package and label parts per business unit and customer requirements. Qualifications of the Finishing Operator: Completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent is preferred. 1 year of related experience required.
