The Opportunity We’re looking for a full-time Rewinder Operator to join our growing production team. In this role, you’ll operate and support rewinding equipment used to finish high-quality labels and shrink-sleeve packaging for leading brands in wine & spirits, health & beauty, and food & beverage. You’ll play a critical role in the final stage of production — ensuring printed materials are slit, inspected, and rewound to customer specifications with precision and consistency. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating machinery, and taking ownership of quality and output. Location note: This position is based at our Mason, OH facility (8467 Duke Blvd) — about 7 miles from West Chester, roughly a 15-minute drive. One of the shortest commutes you'll find for skilled production work in Butler and Warren County. Free on-site parking. Requirements: What You’ll Do • Operate rewinding equipment to slit and rewind printed materials to customer specifications • Set up jobs including core loading, blade positioning, tension settings, and web alignment • Inspect printed material during rewinding to identify defects, inconsistencies, or quality issues • Ensure finished rolls meet specifications for width, diameter, and winding quality • Manage roll changes, splicing, and material handling throughout production runs • Package finished rolls and prepare them for the next stage or shipment • Accurately record production data, including quantities, waste, and job performance • Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of rewinding equipment • Troubleshoot minor mechanical or process issues and escalate when needed • Communicate effectively with press operators, finishing teams, and supervisors • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality and efficiency • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment What We’re Looking For • High school diploma or equivalent • Experience operating manufacturing equipment or working in a production environment preferred • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery • Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and consistency • Ability to identify defects in printed materials and take corrective action • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities during production runs • Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic • Experience with slitting, rewinding, or converting equipment is a plus, but not required • Willingness to learn and grow within a production environment • Availability for 2nd shift or the weekend shift strongly preferred Shift Schedule We run four-day weekday shifts and a three-day weekend shift, so every schedule here comes with at least three consecutive days off: • 1st shift — Tuesday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Three-day weekend, every week. • 2nd shift — Tuesday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Three-day weekend, every week, plus a shift differential. • Weekend shift — Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Full-time hours in three days, four days off every week, plus a shift differential. A shift differential is paid for 2nd shift and the weekend shift.
