Outside Plant Equipment Operator

Operates construction, excavation, hauling, and maintenance equipment for the purpose of ensuring scheduled work is completed in compliance with project specifications and safe work practices. Tasks may include but are not limited to operate directional drill, mini excavator, cable plow, shovel, or any other equipment deemed necessary to complete work; collaborate with Underground Foreman to complete OSP drops, mainline constructions, and repair of OSP damages; and communicate consistently and professionally with crew, customers, and public. Assist Underground Foreman with performing site assessments to ensure locates and site inspections are performed prior to project start for the purpose of reducing liability for AcenTek. Tasks may include but are not limited to locating and potholing all planned crossings of utilities both public and private; report damage to Underground Foreman for documentation and repair; direct traffic flow in accordance with local and state DOT guidelines; and attend daily safety meetings/talks. Perform maintenance of all vehicles/trailers and equipment for the purpose of ensuring safe operations. Tasks may include but are not limited to ensure compliance with manufacturers recommended schedule of maintenance; daily inspection of equipment and vehicles; ensure vehicles and equipment are clean and appearances maintained; ensure tools and electronics are kept locked and stored in a safe manner; and perform minor troubleshooting and repairs. Supervisor, Dome Installation

Summary: The Dome Installation Supervisor is a field-based project installation management role responsible for the successful execution of projection domes and LED CX-Display installations at customer sites, both domestically and internationally. This role is accountable for quality, schedule, and budget on every project. This hands-on working Supervisor leads through planning, clear delegation, daily visual management, and consistent coaching. Success in this role is defined by the performance of the team. This person sets the standard for how work gets done, holds the team to that standard, and develops individuals to reach it. This person has managed complex field installations, worked alongside general contractors and third-party trades, and delivered projects on time, on budget, and at the right quality level. They have a continuous improvement mindset, look for better ways to work, and share what they learn with the team. Responsibilities: Safety Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policy, OSHA standards, and applicable government regulations. Conduct or coordinate daily safety briefings. Enforce the use of proper PPE at all times. Stop work immediately when unsafe conditions are identified. Address the condition before resuming. Project & Field Management Manage the full scope of the installation from mobilization through final acceptance, including coordination with the GC, subcontractors, and third-party trades. Develop and maintain a daily work plan. Use visual management tools to track progress against schedule, identify gaps, and coordinate team assignments. Coordinate site access, sequencing, and logistics in alignment with the GC’s construction schedule. Report project status to the home office on a regular cadence, including schedule, budget, quality, and any risks requiring escalation. Quality Oversight Inspect installation work daily against quality standards and project specifications. Team Leadership & Development Supervise, direct, and mentor both Cosm crew and locally hired labor throughout the installation. Assign tasks based on individual skill level. Recommend remedial action or removal of locally hired workers who do not meet company standards. Resource & Logistics Coordination Manage procurement of materials and consumables needed on site. POSITION SUMMARY: The Traffic Control Supervisor is responsible for designing, setting up, and maintaining temporary traffic control in work zones. Their duties include using traffic control devices to divert drivers and pedestrians, monitoring road repairs, and supervising teams as they install equipment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites. Drive MOT (Management of Traffic) vehicle to and from projects and on work sites. Drive TMA (Truck Mounted Attenuator) vehicle to and from projects and on work sites to protect workers and work zones. Place temporary construction signs in work areas. Position arrow boards or variable message boards in work areas. Set up traffic cones and other traffic safety devices in work areas. Monitor the work zone throughout the shift to ensure items remain in their proper locations. Collect and load traffic control items at the beginning and end of shifts. Install, remove, and reset delineators, signs, posts, and supports. Perform shop work, including general maintenance and repair of equipment. Follow all safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe work environment. Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures. Perform other work-related duties as assigned. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Valid Driver’s License. 2 years of experience and 4,000 in field hours in traffic control. Must successfully complete the ATSSA TCS intermediate training course. Must be able to pass a background check, including motor vehicle records check. Must successfully pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements. Wear proper safety equipment (work boots with safety toe, hard hat, safety glasses, and safety vest). Basic reading and writing ability to comply with road signs, complete paperwork, and knowledge of federal and state motor carrier safety regulations. Must be able to read plans and ensure traffic control plans are implemented and maintained. Good knowledge of state and local roadways and experience operating delivery vehicles of varying sizes. Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds. Willingness to travel statewide, with occasional overnight stays, and ability to work nights and weekends as required by projects.
