Endocrinology Opening in IL Full & Permanent Position. Hospital Information We are a critical access hospital and group of rural health clinics, but much larger in scope and size than typical rural organizations. We have cutting-edge technology, new offerings for the communities we serve, strong specialty support, and still have the small-town approach and values that make our organization so special. Our Endocrinology Practice The current practice has one experienced nurse practitioner and staff, a certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES), and has been recognized by the ADA for our diabetes education program since 1994. This employed position primarily will be outpatient-focused with a small number of inpatient consults. Qualified candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology, have excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to providing care. We are currently staffed with 19 primary care physicians and providers, with specialty support in behavioral health, women†s services, general surgery, orthopedics, spine, pain, dermatology, podiatry, wound care, and cardiology. Additionally, we have 12 visiting specialists that see patients in the clinic each month. The hospital has a 24/7 hospitalist service and convenient care for patients. We have a physician friendly EMR. In 2023, we completed expansion projects including adding an outpatient dialysis center, home health services, pre-anesthesia clinic, and cutting-edge radiology updates.
