Responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and managing the insurance company's investment portfolio strategy to maximize returns and minimize risk and volatility. In collaboration with Investment leadership, contributes to investment strategy, asset allocation, investment guidelines, and risk management for all investment portfolios. Shares responsibility for overall investment results across the company. Formulate and recommend investment policies, strategies, and asset allocations for company portfolios. This includes utilizing portfolio optimization tools, balancing net investment income with Asset Liability Management (ALM) strategies, and allocating risk across various asset classes. Employ asset class risk modeling to assess capital tail risk during periods of volatility and adjust allocations to maintain tolerable risk levels.
