Responsibilities Perform a wide range of environmental engineering analysis and design tasks related to planning, environmental site investigation (subsurface and hazardous materials), remediation design, and remedial operations Coordination and presentation of planning & design submissions with clients and environmental regulatory agencies Perform and manage site investigations to observe and document existing conditions Supervise the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications, and coordinate with other disciplines as required to deliver quality engineering services Complete and review planning documents and design calculations; assist in the preparation of bid packages, design drawings and technical specifications Provide responses and solutions to technical and contractual issues during projects Utilize a broad assortment of technical and project management skills on projects that range from small site restorations to large scale new construction Engage with existing clients to expand our services and pursue new clients to support growth of the environmental business in the region Assist in the preparation of proposals for environmental consulting services Attend industry and business development functions as a representative of the firm Mentor and develop junior engineering staff Qualifications Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Science 10 years’ experience in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Consulting NY PE or PG Preferred Ability to provide guidance to junior level engineers and scientists Understanding and application of environmental regulations, hazardous materials handling and disposal requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines Our Culture: We believe in the power of collaboration.
