UofL Health and the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, KY, are recruiting an academic Anesthesiologist with a subspecialty certification in critical care to join its Cardiovascular Critical Care division. The intensivists lead the multi-disciplinary Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) team at the UofL Health – Heart Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. This 17-bed unit houses critically ill cardiac surgical patients, critically ill patients requiring mechanical circulatory support, heart and lung transplant recipients, and patients with unstable ascending aortic disease. The CVICU team comprises physicians, non-physician providers, and dedicated nurses, pharmacists, and therapists.
