Business Analyst 3 Job Summary: Talent Senior Services is in search of a Business Analyst for a contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be for 9 months with a strong chance for a long-term extension. Position Summary: A typical day in this role involves supporting headcount management by tracking the end-to-end backfill process. The team is dedicated to managing headcount and budget operations, supporting data center infrastructure. Focus areas include tracking attrition, enabling backfills, and maintaining accurate headcount records to support workforce planning. The main function of this role is to maintain vendor relationships, act as a business analyst for non-IT projects, and fill organizational roles above an administrative level but below a management level. Responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics, and budget. Typically, this position reports to a project manager or director. This role will contribute to headcount tracking, attrition management, backfill creation, and workforce planning activities in a high-growth data center environment. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Establish and maintain communication services across business units or from the project team to the organization. Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics. Review contracts, cost proposals, and contract supplements. Set up project and work breakdown structures. Establish and document business processes. Track project budgets and expenditures, monitor transaction controls, and costs against budgets. Predict potential budget overruns and offer solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or a relevant field required. 5-7 years of experience required. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to learn new internal tools quickly, experience supporting headcount, HR, finance, or administrative processes, and proven reliability in handling confidential information. Minimum 5–7 years of experience with requirements elicitation and documentation, including business requirements, functional/non-functional requirements, user stories, and process flows. Minimum 5–7 years of experience with data analysis and reporting, including Excel, SQL, Power BI, trend analysis, gap analysis, and translating data into business insights. Minimum 5–7 years of experience with process analysis and stakeholder translation, including as-is/to-be process mapping and translating business needs into operational requirements to support decision-making. Experience in administrative, business operations, or program support roles. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience supporting headcount, HR, finance, or procurement-related processes preferred. Preferred: Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one's time. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods. Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed. Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience is a plus.
