Roles & Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to Med-Surg and Orthopedics patients Perform hourly rounding and provide clear, patient-centered bedside shift reports Administer and monitor IV infusions, antibiotics, anticoagulants and narcotics safely Assess patients, monitor telemetry and intervene or escalate as appropriate Provide wound care and support recovery for surgical patients (total knees/hips, shoulder replacements, fractures) Document care accurately and efficiently in EPIC Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team including charge nurses and patient care techs to maintain safe ratios Float to PCU and behavioral health when needed, applying de-escalation and behavioral health best practices About United Health Care Staffing, Inc.
