Pay Information $2,107 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: SICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of ICU experience required License: Valid compact or state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: EPIC experience required; Oncology experience preferred Description: 12 James SICU/ONCOLOGY - 12-hour day/night shifts. Candidates may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination, depending on department needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities. 2 years of ICU experience is required. EPIC experience is required. Oncology experience is preferred but not required. Certifications required include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Patient age group is adults. Common patient diagnoses include hemorrhagic shock, hypovolemic shock, sepsis, septic shock, pneumonia, ARDS, craniotomy, ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, and intracranial hypertension. Delirium is also a concern in the unit. Special procedures and unit details include external ventricular drain management, ICP monitoring, massive transfusion protocol, mechanical ventilation, heated high flow, BiPAP, CPAP, tracheostomy management, CRRT, and vasopressor titration.
