Expertise in forensic psychiatry is desirable but not necessary. This position will require direct patient care, teaching and supervision of psychiatry residents, medical students, clinical psychology graduate students, and other trainees, and support of the academic mission of the department of psychiatry at UT Southwestern. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry. Candidates who are not currently Board Certified or Board Eligible will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, with consideration given to relevant experience and qualifications.
