Administrative Assistant
This is a temporary, part-time Administrative Assistant opportunity supporting a higher education institution's career advising and distinguished fellowships office. The role runs from March 2 through April 13, is onsite in Cambridge, MA and requires 25 hours per week (5 hours per day). Pay is $23.75/hr. The position supports student-facing programs, fellowship administration, and general office operations within an academic environment. Job Responsibilities Serve as a front-line contact for career advising and distinguished fellowships via email, phone, and in-person support Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings and mock interview panels Support planning and execution of events, information sessions, and visits from external partners Manage data and materials related to fellowship applications and reviews Draft and edit promotional, web, and presentation materials Maintain confidential records in the career management system and prepare reports as needed Provide general administrative and front desk support and assist with special projects Candidate Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred 2 years of administrative or office experience Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills Proficiency with Excel; web or desktop publishing experience preferred Experience with accounting, budgets, or prestigious fellowship programs is a plus Ability to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration.
