Job Details Job Details: We are currently seeking an experienced and highly-skilled Controller to join our dynamic Accounting Finance team. This is a unique opportunity to join a thriving company and play a key role in managing the financial health of our organization. As a Permanent Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our financial systems, including the creation of financial reports, direct investment activities, and implementation of cash/capital improvement strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of Manufacturing Accounting, Annual Budgeting, Financial Statements, and Cash Flow. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Controller, your primary responsibilities will include: 1. Overseeing the operations of the accounting department, including the design and management of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives. 2. Directing and coordinating all financial planning and budget management functions. 3. Monitoring and analyzing monthly operating results against budget. 4. Directing and coordinating debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies. 5. Managing the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies. 6. Reviewing reports to analyze projections of sales and profit against actual figures, budgeted expenses against final totals, and suggesting methods of improving the planning process as appropriate. 7. Collaborating with the management team to develop and execute the company's financial strategy and growth plans. 8. Managing the cash flow and forecasting. Directing all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to the general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll, and financial reporting. 9. Implementing and managing effective and accessible financial systems and processes. Qualifications: To qualify for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA, CPA, or related certification is highly preferred. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry. 3. Proven experience in Manufacturing Accounting, Annual Budgeting, Financial Statements, and Cash Flow. 4. Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 5. Exceptional knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems. 6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial data and complex information in an easy-to-understand manner. 7. Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model. 8. An effective communicator at all levels in the organization, with strong oral, written, and persuasive skills. 9. Strong problem solving and creative skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses. 10. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
