Sugar Land Cardiovascular ASC is seeking a motivated Cath Lab Tech to join our team.We have 2 cath labs and 10 pre/post op beds.We perform diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral procedures, pacemaker and ICD implants, pulse generator changes, loop implants and a variety of IR procedures. We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday based on staff rotation, schedule subject to change based on procedure schedule/volume/flow of the day.Candidate needs to be available for some early mornings(6am) and later afternoons. Position requires weekday only based on a staff rotation-no holidays or call. Some later afternoons required. Job Summary Performs patient care activities. Scrubs and assists physician during procedures. Assists with X-Ray equipment, cleans and stores supplies, instruments, and equipment. Documents and maintains patient intraprocedural records, procedure logs and required paperwork. Required Skills: Requirements Training/ experience in a Cath lab required. Demonstrated understanding of sterilization principles and sterile technique required. CPR/ACLS certification required. Radiology certification preferred, RCIS certification preferred.
