We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment where you will be responsible for managing and executing a diverse range of projects. You will be part of a team that designs, develops, and manufactures industrial equipment such as heating systems, industrial ovens, and furnaces. Responsibilities: As our Mechanical Project Engineer, you will: 1. Design, develop, and test all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery. 2. Apply knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc. 3. Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as centralized heat, gas, water, and steam systems. 4. Be responsible for retrofitting existing equipment to meet updated specifications and requirements. 5. Utilize 3D modelling software for design and implementation purposes, with a specific focus on sheet metal fabrication. 6. Use Inventor and other design software to create detailed mechanical designs. 7. Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met and projects are completed to the highest standard. 8. Collaborate with other engineers, project managers, and team members to ensure project success. 9. Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis, project tracking, and reporting. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Mechanical Project Engineer role should possess: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical project engineering, specifically in the design and manufacture of industrial equipment. 3. Proficiency in 3D modelling, specifically with sheet metal fabrication. 4. Experience using Inventor and other design software. 5. Strong knowledge of heating systems, industrial ovens, and furnaces. 6. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. 7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and innovatively. 8. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and project management. 9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. 10. A strong commitment to safety and adherence to protocols and regulations.
