Competitive hourly rate or salary, depending on experience Overtime opportunities Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) Stable, long-term opportunity with a well-respected manufacturer Senior-level, hands-on position with real influence on plant performance Strong leadership support and investment in maintenance Clean, modern manufacturing environment Long-term stability and growth potential Job Details Key Responsibilities Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose root causes, and restore equipment safely and efficiently Perform and improve preventive maintenance activities, including developing new PMs, modifying frequencies, and enhancing PM effectiveness Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including PLC-controlled equipment Support equipment installation, relocation, and upgrades in coordination with engineering and maintenance leadership Identify replacement parts, cross-reference components, and support MRO procurement Assist with planning downtime to complete repairs while minimizing production impact Train and support maintenance technicians, apprentices, and trainees Participate in 5S activities to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment Support continuous improvement projects and special maintenance initiatives Adhere to all LOTO, EH&S, and safety standards at all times Technical Skills & Knowledge Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting expertise Solid understanding of electrical principles, including single-phase and three-phase systems Experience with AC and DC motors, motor controls, VFDs, drives, PLCs, instrumentation, and sensors Ability to diagnose fault codes and return equipment to service safely and efficiently Proficient in reading electrical schematics, ladder logic, mechanical drawings, and blueprints Working knowledge of NFPA 79 and NFPA 70E standards Competency in hydraulic and pneumatic theory and troubleshooting Familiarity with CMMS and preventive maintenance systems Qualifications Technical or vocational certificate or 5 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds Willingness to work overtime, off-shifts, and weekends as required Basic computer skills, including Excel, Word, and other standard applications Interested in hearing more?
