Job Responsibilities This role will be responsible for defining the EMC requirements with the Standards and assessing their impact on the baseline design as it develops. In the design phase, the EMC Engineer is responsible for analysis projecting EMC compliance design margins to EMC requirements to be presented at design reviews and customer technical meetings. Developing the EMI equipment needs, maintenance, and calibration and the implementation in the EMI Test procedure, the desired applicant should be familiar with circuit simulation and electromagnetic modeling software tools and possess a fundamental understanding of EMI test methodologies and equipment, ranging from but not limited to spectrum analyzers, receivers, oscilloscopes, amplifiers, current probes, and power supplies. Providing team participation in EMC, including Test Planning, System Integration, and Verification/Validation, test setup and performance oversight of components and the all-up system Developing and authoring EMC plan, test protocols, and overseeing execution of these plans at in-house lab and third-party accredited test house. Ensure that the project complies with the appropriate EMC Standard and system requirements Supporting the design team in performing Root Cause Analysis for design and product failures.
