Job Details Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining stamping dies and supporting press operations. The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient toolroom professional who can work independently and troubleshoot tooling issues directly at the presses. Key Responsibilities: Build, assemble, fit, repair, and maintain stamping dies, fixtures, jigs, and tooling Perform precision machining using manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, welding equipment, and other toolroom machinery Troubleshoot tooling issues at stamping presses ranging from 100 to 300 tons Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications Ensure all tooling meets required tolerances and quality standards Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of Tool & Die / Press Toolroom experience Comfortable serving as the sole Tool & Die Maker and independently managing the toolroom Proven experience troubleshooting dies at stamping presses Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints High attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently, safely, and with minimal supervision Tool & Die technical training, certification, or apprenticeship preferred Interested in hearing more?
