Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic testing Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions Provide preventive care, including screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle counseling Coordinate care with specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure integrated patient management Prescribe and manage medications, monitoring efficacy and safety Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and case discussions Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive strategies Ensure availability for at least half-day clinical coverage on Fridays Qualifications Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Board certification (or board eligibility) in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Valid and unrestricted medical license in Texas DEA certification for prescribing controlled substances Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic skills, and patient communication abilities Experience managing diverse patient populations across preventive, acute, and chronic care settings Proficiency in EHR systems and telehealth platforms Preferred Skills Experience in outpatient primary care or integrated care settings Familiarity with chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular conditions) Strong background in preventive medicine and patient education Commitment to culturally competent care and community health initiatives Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Work Location: In person
