This position involves running fabrication equipment, following production instructions, and ensuring all work meets strict quality standards. We're looking for someone reliable, organized, and eager to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Location: Livonia Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (with potential to shift to 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM based on production needs) Pay Rate: Starting at $19.00/hr with wage progression Key Responsibilities: Operate various machines and tools to produce parts according to customer specifications Follow work orders, instructions, and shift leader guidance for part setup and process flow Perform visual and measurement-based quality checks throughout the job Track materials used and time spent on each work order Keep work area clean and compliant with safety and housekeeping standards Work independently and stay productive with minimal supervision Contribute to a positive safety culture and help maintain ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards What We're Looking For: High school diploma or GED required 2–4 years of manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred Ability to read blueprints or part drawings Basic knowledge of shop equipment and production tools Strong attention to detail and mechanical skill set Able to lift 30 lbs consistently and stand for extended periods Willingness to adjust shift time as needed for production demands Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
