Nurse Practitioner-{169181} Location: Greensboro, NC 27408 Pay: $67.00/hour Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:30pm. Every other weekend and possible holiday rotation may be required Overview We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for a contract opportunity in Greensboro, NC. This is a patient-facing role supporting a collaborative clinical care team in a primary care setting. The provider will deliver evidence-based care, promote positive patient outcomes, and support patients through assessment, treatment, education, and ongoing health management. Key Responsibilities Provide primary and family care through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of health conditions Deliver patient counseling and education to support healthier lifestyle choices and long-term wellness Perform routine examinations and diagnostic evaluations for illness and injury Coordinate care plans with other healthcare professionals as needed Support chronic condition management and preventive health screenings Manage patient appointments and follow-up care Assist with clinic operations including opening and closing, inventory, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and maintaining a clean environment Promote patient engagement and encourage individuals to take an active role in their healthcare Required Skills & Qualifications Active Nurse Practitioner license in good standing for the state of practice National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner Minimum of 1 year of recent primary care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine, primary care, or urgent care Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills Comfortable using electronic systems and healthcare technology Willingness to obtain additional state licenses if needed Keywords Nurse Practitioner, NP, Family Nurse Practitioner, FNP, Primary Care, Urgent Care, Outpatient Clinic, Patient Care, Clinical Assessment, Chronic Disease Management, Preventive Care, Greensboro NC, Healthcare Provider
