Job Description The Impact You Can Make The Clinical Lab Technologist (MT) performs medical laboratory tests and analyses to provide data for diagnosis and treatment of patients. These tests are associated with biochemical, blood banking, hematological, microbiological, and urinalysis procedures. May supervise 2-3 support staff. Qualifications/Experience Bachelor of Science (BS) in Medical/Clinical Laboratory Technology, OR BS in one of the biological, chemical , or physical sciences.; AND/OR meets all of the educational and experience requirements for a Clinical Laboratory Technologist according to Part 58 of 10NYCRR Subpart 58-1 Clinical Laboratories of the NYSDOH code. Licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist by the New York State Education Department is required. American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) registration preferred.
