This position is an on-site role located in Tucson, AZ. \n \n What You Will Do \n \n \n You will join a team of engineers and analysts to realize Mission Planning team objectives: \n \n Become the “go-to” source for mission planning expertise. \n \n Travel will be required to witness flight tests and provide onsite support. \n \n Develop common mission planning solutions across programs, Captures and IRADs \n \n Grow a mission planning cadre with varied experience and skills. \n \n Develop team expertise in mission planning methods, software development, and tools. \n \n Coordinate with other IPTs, Program Chief Engineer, and Program Management \n \n Develop capability delivery plans and lead team execution in an agile framework. \n \n Engage directly in mission planning application software development and test. \n \n You will provide guidance, direction, mentoring and influencing skills, and foster teamwork, interdependent execution, and growth for younger Engineers. \n \n . \n Qualifications You Must Have \n \n \n Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations. \n \n Software architecture, design, development, integration, and verification (virtual machines, C#, C++, Java). \n \n Experience in developing cross platform .NET backend web applications for cloud deployment \n \n Software development experience utilizing DevOps pipeline workflows \n \n Experience in any of these related topics: \n \n \n Mission Planning \n \n Common Weapon Component experience \n \n Universal Armament Interface (UAI) or Common Flexible Weapon (CFW) \n \n System performance, CONOPS \n \n Algorithms and signal processing \n \n Aerodynamics, Launch Acceptability Regions, Modeling and Simulation (i.e., 6-DOF) \n \n Aircraft integration and store interface (i.e. MIL STD 1553 and 1760) \n \n \n Active and transferable Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance is required before start date.
