How you'll contribute A Cat Scan Technologist who excels in this role: Insures that patient examinations are performed in an accurate and timely manner; not to exceed 30 minutes. Provides accurate patient positioning, computer entries and filming. Performs nuclear medicine scans according to established protocols. Administers radiopharmaceuticals to patient according to the radiologist prescribed protocols. Maintains an effective use of time, reports availability accordingly. Applies knowledge to produce high quality diagnostic scan images with use of professional knowledge to meet or exceed department guidelines. Ensure timely documentation of key clinical assessments after admissions, while balancing in-center care team planning meetings. Lead in-person interdisciplinary care planning meetings to ensure effective care coordination and management between providers visits. Perform timely nursing assessments and provide patient education for chronic condition management and transitions of care. What are we looking for? Current RN license in assigned state is required; Bachelor degree in nursing preferred. Minimum of 6-8 years nursing experience.
