The Seasonal Production forklift workers assist in meeting production goals and deadlines during times of increased volume. The position offers the opportunity to learn the printing process from the ground up, while working with the industry’s most advanced printing equipment in a clean, well-kept environment. Our Seasonal opportunity is estimated to run from now until 11/14/2026. Shifts and dates of assignments may be rotated and may vary by department. Openings include forklift/material handler. Hours are based on production needs; however, hours consist of 12-hour shifts, days, nights, weekends and holiday as needed. Overtime is required as needed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Move product/skids with a hand jack, motorized Raymond (Big Joe) lift or Forklift (training provided) Servicing of press and finishing machines to move product throughout the plant. Maintain accurate inventory of product with the use of an onboard PC and RF bar coding system. Loading and unloading of finished product and materials from semi-trailers and auto-wrapper using a forklift Comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations. Effectively communicate with team members Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures. Qualifications The successful candidate will have or be able to do the following: Must be at least 18-years of age or older. Strong computer skills preferred. Prior forklift experience highly preferred, but not required. Factory, Manufacturing or other work experience where mechanical or handwork was necessary is preferred, such as laborer, machinist, assembly, bindery, mechanic, warehouse etc. Printing, Finishing (Bindery) or Warehouse experience is preferred. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to read, understand and follow both written and verbal instructions. Good math skills The ability to use repetitive hand/wrist movement. Ability to multi-task and prioritize job need. Ability to be a team player in a fast paced, detail orientated production environment. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. You will be asked to follow a shift: (3 on 4 off, 4 on 3 off) will be both days and nights throughout the year, we will explain this during interview process. 12 hours shift 7 to 7. The Clamp Truck Operator transports the roll paper within the plant ensuring presses have the necessary amount of paper, unloads and inspects incoming paper and loads outgoing paper. $18-$20/hr. based on past experience. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Some responsibilities of the position are as follows: Completes the daily maintenance checklist at shift start. Moves roll paper to presses, ensuring correct type and size of paper per schedule. Removes from presses and places back in inventory unused roll paper upon completion of jobs. Unloads trucks and rail cars of roll paper, entering accurately into inventory and placing in appropriate bays for storage. Checks and ensures bar code labels are correct for paper received. Any roll paper received that is defective is properly reported and stored separately as necessary. Loads trucks and rail cars with roll paper being transferred to other facilities. Completes all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Works closely with the press room crews to ensure their paper needs are being met. Adheres to all safety policies, procedures, and requirements. Qualifications The position requires the ability to lift 10-20 pounds continuously, the ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally, stand for long hours, use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement, receive and follow instructions and use vision in order to identify defects. The ability to work 12 hours on the day or night shifts (7am – 7pm) or (7pm-7am). Must be able to work overtime as needed. The successful candidate must be dependable, responsible and able to work independently with minimal supervision, and be a team player in a fast paced, detail-oriented production environment. This position requires good math, verbal and written skills as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritize job needs. Computer skills and prior forklift experience are preferred. The Sheeter/Cutter Operator efficiently performs set-up and operates a machine that cuts rolls up to 59" of paper stock into sheets of paper of a specific size and quantity. Duties are always performed while standing or walking next to the cutter on the floor or scaffold areas in the cutter area or the paper roll storage area. Walk on and work from scaffolds up to 7-8 ft. high around both sides and the output areas of the press. Frequently use roll pushers to move rolls of paper weighing approximately 1,400-5,600 lbs. Use of mechanical or electrical hand pallet jack: lift and move pallets/skids with 1,500 lbs. of product. Examples of Powered Equipment used: Guillotine Cutter, hand tools from powered screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, etc., compressed air hoses, powered and assisted lifting devices, clamp forklift, scissor/man lifts, hand jacks, elevator sorting/staging platform, scanning devices and bar-code readers, and keyboard and touch computers. Required Qualifications: Previous sheeter (roll tender) experience preferred. Be able to perform work-related functions requiring the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and to read metric measurements. Be able to read, speak, and understand Basic English Must be familiar with machines and tools, including their designs, uses, benefits, repair, and maintenance. Computer proficient Troubleshooting experience. Understanding of the USA dating system Understand Lock Out/Tag Out Be able to perform multiple tasks. Must be able to quickly and accurately compare letters, numbers, objects, pictures, and patterns. Must be able to crawl under and into the cutter – small spaces, reach into all areas to set up and monitor rollers to ensure a perfect production run. Ability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously, ability to lift to 50 pounds occasionally, stand long hours (12-hour shift), use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement, receive and follow instructions, and use vision to identify defects. Have good vision, including peripheral and depth perception, and be able to successfully pass a color test. You must be willing to work overtime and on weekends when needed. Preferred Qualifications: Machine repair and maintenance experience preferred. Raw material inventory management experience preferred.
