Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper
DocRx, a leader in healthcare services, is searching for a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our Finance team. At DocRx, we empower medical practitioners with top-tier services that enhance compliance, boost revenue, and streamline operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, ensuring that our company continues to deliver exceptional service to facilitate healthcare. Manage all aspects of accounting; billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, and various special analyses. Maintain documented system of accounting policies and operations. Oversee payments of all accounts; ensuring all accounts are paid on time. Process accounts and collecting payments. Prepare financial reports through collection, analysis, and summarization of data. Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards. Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist CFO with conducting audits. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and various accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks). Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and legislation.
