Responsibilities: Develop, design, and test mechanical components and systems using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks) Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop innovative design solutions Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget Conduct design reviews and make recommendations for improvements Apply knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to optimize product design for ease of manufacturing, cost efficiency, and quality Perform complex mechanical analyses to validate designs Work closely with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and standards to ensure designs are innovative and competitive Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in the manufacturing industry Proficiency in SolidWorks and other 3D CAD software Strong knowledge of engineering principles, including Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Experience in machine design and product development Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and stay updated with the latest industry trends Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Willingness to occasionally travel as required for project needs.
