This position offers a unique opportunity for a talented engineer to apply their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, and optimization of our manufacturing processes and systems, ensuring the highest levels of efficiency and quality. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Manufacturing Engineer, you will: 1. Develop, evaluate, and enhance manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. 2. Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. 3. Confer with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. 4. Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential. 5. Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs. 6. Troubleshoot issues related to manufacturing processes and systems. 7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects. 8. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. 9. Provide technical support to the manufacturing team as needed. Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you must have: 1. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role. 3. Proven experience in designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes and systems. 4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods, tooling and production equipment capabilities, and quality control standards. 5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues. 6. Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. 7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. 8. Proficiency in relevant software applications and technology. 9. A strong commitment to health and safety.
