Completion of minor household repairs to client homes related to safety, weatherization, installation of handrails or small ramps, housing improvements which may deter crime, roofs, siding, doors and windows, foundation, floors, interior plumbing, electrical and touch up painting done to prevent deterioration and in conjunction with repairs all in accordance with the description of the Fix-It program. Completion of minor or labor intensive unskilled household tasks and seasonal upkeep activities (i.e. moving furniture and air conditioners, changing light bulbs, garage, basement and attic cleanout) and minor appliance repairs. Participation in community presentation regarding the Fix It Program. Completing work order forms for Fix It. Completing check requests for expenses incurred related to the provision of Fix It services. Tracking and monitoring of Fix It supply inventory. Gathering of requested financial documents from field based clients. Installing Hope Connection units and monitoring of supplies for this initiative. Completion of site maintenance tasks at Hope House. Completion of monthly Site Safety Survey for Hope House. Participation in supervision, team meetings and staff meetings. Participation in meeting and tasks related to the ongoing quality improvement of the program. Collaboration and team work with other staff. Responsible for other duties that may be assigned from time to time to support the effective and efficient operation of Catholic Charities. QUALIFICATIONS: High School/GED Must have a valid N.J. Job Summary The Geisinger Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking an adult Cardiothoracic surgeon to join our growing practice at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Job Duties Geisinger's Heart & Vascular Institute is composed of Adult and Pediatric Cardiothoracic surgery, Vascular surgery and Adult and Pediatric Cardiology. The Cardiothoracic Surgery department provides clinical services at 3 sites, Danville, Wilkes Barre, and Scranton with dedicated 24 hour, 7 days a week Cardiac Anesthesia and ICU staff. Presently, the Cardiac and Thoracic surgeons and advanced providers perform the full breadth of Adult Cardiothoracic surgery. Standard and minimally invasive valvular operations and multiple arterial conduits are the standard for cardiac revascularization. Geisinger has dedicated Heart Failure and Adult Congenital Heart disease programs throughout the system. The growing Mechanical Circulatory Support and Shock programs have energized our LVAD program which has achieved full independent (Name) certification. Our ECMO program is the largest in the region performing V-V and V-A ECMO cannulations throughout the system and recovered at Geisinger Medical Center. A multi-disciplinary Structural Heart Program performs TAVR and Mitra Clip implantation at all sites. Disconnect the donor and handle the disposal of biohazardous waste and contaminated equipment, including cleaning spills and following safety protocols. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly calibration/maintenance of automated plasmapheresis machines and removes and/or replaces equipment from service, if needed.
