Explains the program to patient, asking for return demonstrations and trains the family if needed. Directs and supervises Rehabilitation Assistants during Speech therapy treatments. Participates with on-the-job training of rehabilitation personnel. Promotes the team approach to delivery of rehabilitation services, while serving as a representative in the field of Speech Therapy. Description Summary: All pharmacists fill orders for drugs, monitor patient drug therapies and provide drug information. Pharmacists provide pharmacy services with compassion, excellence and efficiency. In addition, level II pharmacists participate in management of patient pharmacotherapy and quality medication management within assigned service lines. Tele Sitter - Sitter Pool

Description Summary: The Tele Sitter provides continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients via the Tele sitter program or direct one-on-one observation under the guidance of the nurse. The Tele Sitter verbally redirects the patient from engaging in at-risk behaviors and calls the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance. Description Summary: Performs a variety of technical duties to assist in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients. Prepares patient skin for surgery in accordance with hospital standards. Maintains aseptic techniques; actively monitors situations that could lead to breaches in aseptic technique. Provides comfort and support for pre-operative patients by demonstrating sensitivity to patient care and privacy. Transports patients to and from the Operating Room suite. Positions patients according to the type of surgery. Identifies and cares for biological specimens. Prepares the Operating Room by setting up tables, instruments, and supplies according to type of case. Under the direction of a professional nurse, performs all processes that relate to the delivery of direct patient care and assistance care in the OR prior to and during any surgical procedure. Establishes and maintains the sterile field, passes instruments, and sutures to the physician, and assists as directed by the physician. Use the physician preference card as a beginning point when pulling cases and setting up the OR. Ensures that preference cards are kept up to date and as complete as possible. Works effectively as a member of the team caring for the patient. Cooperates in team planning and execution. Maintains a safe environment by always implementing technical and aseptic practices. Demonstrates clinical expertise in the use and care of all surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment. Adheres to Universal Barrier Precautions for both patient and own safety in all patient care situations. Demonstrates competency to monitor and control the surgical environment. Maintains proper traffic control, dress codes, and adherence to OR sanitation policies and procedures. Familiar with facility policy and procedure regarding decontamination, processing, and sterilization of all instruments and supplies that are processed within the facility. Demonstrates competence to perform assigned patient care responsibilities in a manner that meets the population-specific and developmental needs of patients served by the department. Appropriately adapt assigned patient assessment, treatment and/or care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, age-specific, and other developmental needs of each patient served. Primary Responsibilities The Code Enforcement Officer I is the entry level class in the Code Enforcement Officer series and, initially under closer supervision and within well established procedural guidelines, is responsible for performing the more routine supporting code enforcement functions. An incumbent may advance to the next higher classification of Code Enforcement Officer II upon meeting the employment standards for that class, recommendation of the Department Head, and approval from the City Manager. This classification differs from the next higher classification of Code Enforcement Officer II by the lower level of complexity of the work performed and a lesser independence of operation. Incumbents in this class are expected to learn procedures and practices and to perform increasingly more complex work over a period of time.
