This position will set-up, operate and maintain the press and auxiliary equipment related to the press. The Press Operator will direct the activities of press crew with assigned tasks during downtime and make-ready periods. The pay range for this role is $22-$33/hr. Job Duties include, but are not limited to: Make-ready and operate press based upon written instructions provided. Establish and maintain color and/or fold and mechanical quality to BPC standards. Continuously monitor product for quality and approve or reject. Direct and coordinate activities of assigned crew members. Perform assigned make-ready duties. Complete required general maintenance and lubrication assignments. Complete required documentation, electronic and paper, for assigned job. Perform duties of other Print Service manufacturing positions as needed, following requisite training. Provide training for employees so the crew members can provide coverage for each other and/or prepare them for future positions. Follow all safety policies and regulations, report any potential hazards, near-misses, or accidents immediately. Perform other duties as assigned. Ink Jet Operator

The main duty entails overseeing the setup and operation of all Ink Jet equipment associated with Converting press operations. The wage range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00 / hour, based on experience. As secondary tasks, assisting the press crew with press setup and webbing up the press may be required. RESPONSIBILITIES Operate inkjet, digital print, or both. Responsibilities include basic operator maintenance and repair of all Ink Jet-related Converting press equipment and assisting the Ink Jet Support Technicians in troubleshooting/repairing non-routine problems. Secondary responsibilities include assisting the press crew with make-ready and re-webbing of the press as required, however, the primary responsibilities must be accomplished before executing secondary responsibilities. Night Shift Maintenance Mechanic

SUMMARY: Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining, mechanical and hydraulic components of production presses and equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. This position will visually inspect and listen to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions and keep presses operational. The Maintenance Technician plays an essential role in helping the plant provide high-quality products and efficient service to our customers by minimizing operational downtime. The wage range for this position is $24.00 - $33.50 per hour depending on experience level. Willing to train with some experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform mechanical preventative maintenance procedures and repairs on Web Offset presses and Auxiliary equipment. Troubleshooting and repairing precision machinery and auxiliary equipment, utilizing blueprints, schematics, manufacturer specifications, and manuals. Emphasize proactive measures to minimize reactive maintenance. Maintain and repair components on systems such as bearings, gear clutches, couplings, belted and shafted drives, and gearboxes. Follow safety instructions while performing tasks and effectively communicate with Press operators, crew members, and management. May also perform some basic welding and mechanical tasks. Required Qualifications: Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment, with an understanding of the urgency of equipment downtimes Basic knowledge of precision test and calibration equipment to perform preventative maintenance. Basic understanding of components and systems bearings, clutches, gears, belted and shafted drives, and pneumatic systems. Ability to understand and follow instructions, troubleshoot effectively, and respond quickly to solve equipment malfunctions. Good communication both written and oral. Must provide own set of tools.
