Experience with tight tolerance aerospace / defense and semi-conductor NPI machining with the ability to hold tolerances of /- .0002.” Must be able to maintain a 90% efficiency rate during set-up/operation, and scrap rate of less than 1%. Setup, Prove-out and optimize process to minimize cycle-time and increase probability of success while communicating and working with other departments i.e.) Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Deburring/Finishing Qualifications Minimum of five years successful experience setting up and operating 5-Axis CNC Mill Machines, prior aerospace and/or defense experience strongly preferred. Extensive knowledge of Mill tooling. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Proficiency with surface plate inspection. Proficiency with various materials including aluminum, steel and stainless steel. Strong problem-solving skills and good mathematical skills. Qualified candidates will have their own tools. This position plays a critical role in supporting efficient production by performing machine setups, installing and adjusting tooling, verifying first-piece quality, and maintaining process accuracy throughout production runs.
